Case History - Isolcell SPA

This recent video clip has been realized for Isolcell Italia SpA - a worldwide leading company in the sector of controlled atmosphere. In the first part of the film you can see how, inside the cell, a newspaper has been burned by a gas burner (which is normally employed to cut steel). 

The paper immediately starts to burn and turns into a pile of ashes.

The second part instead shows us the same experiment, but this time carried out in an isolated cell. Thanks to the reduction in oxygen as well as a special control-system, the intern atmosphere has been modified so that the newspaper remains intact or not even starts to burn. Actually the film only shows the natural procedure of a physical phenomenon: in absence or in case of lack of oxygen, fire is self-extinguishing and cannot spread.  

Those overwhelming and impressive images however, communicate much more than many words would do and achieve things that any other marketing strategy wouldn't have reached.

Equipment and techniques:
Full HD film realized thanks to NIKON cinematographic lenses and prime lenses, crane for aerial photographs and filming. Steady cam for REAL MOVE - system. Apple editing systems - Final Cut Broadcasting.
